DESCRIPTION:Special Concert on the Riverwalk Tuesday\, June 26th \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nA very special performance by the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest is set for Tuesday evening\, June 26\, at the band shell next to Trig's at 7 pm. This breaks from the usual Wednesday show\, happening each week (except for July 4) throughout the summer.\n\n \n\n\n\nThe band features 35 talented musicians who are currently touring Wisconsin and upper Michigan from their base in Peoria\, Illinois. These citizen-soldiers "perform an exciting and diverse musical repertoire that preserves our national heritage\, and instills patriotism\, national pride and espirit de corps." \n\n \n\n\n\nAs always\, the concert is free to the public. Listeners are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets\, and a drink to accompany the free popcorn supplied by the concert organizers. Free-will offerings will be collected.\n\n \n\n\n\nThis promises to be a very popular performance\, so early arrival is suggested\, especially if bad weather forces the group indoors at the Oneida County senior center\, across the parking lot.
