SUMMARY:Moving Better with Less Pain
DESCRIPTION:Do you or a family member suffer from chronic pain (pain that has lasted for more than 3 months)? Chronic pain continues to be a leading cause of disability and in 2016 an estimated 20% of U.S. adults (50 million people) had chronic pain\, pushing the annual cost of chronic pain in the United States to  635 billion a year\, which is more than the yearly costs for cancer\, heart disease and diabetes. Participants in this class will be educated on what occurs when someone is in chronic pain and proven treatment options for managing it. The goal being to move better with less pain and an improved quality of life.
