DESCRIPTION:Hand-Building with clay is a fun way to create beautiful pottery. This class is tailored to beginners who want to 'get a taste' of pottery and see if they want to invest in learning a larger variety of hand-building skills.\n\n\n\nYou don't need any prior artistic abilities and don't need to bring anything to class. The instructor will guide you through the first steps of making hand-built potter: from rolling a slab\, decorate with textures\, create a vase\, cup\, or bowl\, and safely cleaning up your work area.\n\n\n\nEach student will be provided with 3 pounds of clay a hand-built piece. The instructor will finish the piece for you\, glaze it\, and fire it. Two to three weeks after class\, you can pick up your pot.
