DESCRIPTION:Join us to launch the Northwoods Safety and Wellness Network! \n\n\n\nDesigned for all professionals whose work involves the health\, safety\, and well-being of employees and clients\, the Network will provide participants a chance to share resources and programs\, raise awareness of health\, wellness and safety issues at the worksite\, and build connections among a community of like-minded professionals.\n\n\n\nThis initial meeting will feature Rachel Gilbert\, P.T.\, CSCS\, presenting\, "How to Create a Healthy Workplace: Early Intervention/OSHA First Aid." Rachel will detail what early intervention is.  How does it differ from traditional 'Wellness Programs'? How can EI and wellness work together to cut worker's compensation/health care costs and improve the health and well-being of your employees? \n\n\n\nThis will be followed by a networking session facilitated by Jane Banning. In this networking sessions\, we will develop topics\, goals and strategies to further programmatic ideas to promote worksite wellness development.\n\n\n\nPlease share this meeting invitation with professionals in the area. These free sessions will be valuable learning opportunities and we invite all to attend. If you cannot attend\, send a representative from your worksite. A light breakfast will be served. \n\n\n\nRegistration is recommended.
