DESCRIPTION:The Rhinelander Community Band has welcomed several new members as it prepares for a concert on Wednesday\, Aug. 25\, at the River Walk band shell at 7 p.m.\n\n \nThe Rhinelander Area Community Band is back and will present an end-of-summer concert 7 p.m.\, Wednesday\, Aug. 25\, at the River Walk band shell (near Trig's). In case of rain\, the concert will be held Aug. 26.\n\nLike so many groups\, the band had been on a long pandemic-related sabbatical. Its last outdoor concert\, nearly two years ago\, was planned as an audience appreciation celebration\, complete with fireworks compliments of the Rhinelander Community Foundation. Although rain interfered with those plans\, the fireworks have remained dry and will be featured at the conclusion of the Aug. 25 concert.\n\nThe program will include a wide variety of music for all ages. There is no admission charge\, but a free-will offering will be accepted.
