DESCRIPTION:Treehaven instructors will teach participants the basics of starting\, stopping\, turning\, and gliding across the snow on cross-country skis. After learning the basics\, you will get to explore Treehaven's groomed trails and see the beauty of winter in the Northwoods. Experienced skiers can also come to ski the trails on their own. Fire and hot chocolate will follow. This event is limited to 30 participants\, aged 12 and up. Registration is required by December 27\, 2019. The cost is $5 with your own skis or $10 to rent skis on-site. Register for these programs at www.uwsp.edu/treehaven under Public Programs.
